Anyone ever seen a gas valve like this?

Is that both gas or oil? Looks like an oil pump on top of a gas valve.

That is a pneumatic gas pressure regulator that came on a North American gas burner. They came on mostly larger burners firing about 12,000,000 BTU's and above. At one time, North American burners and fire tube boilers were one of the best made, IMO.

They usually came on the most expensive North American Boiler systems. I only saw and serviced a few of these during my 40+ years.

Oh, so it is like a large version of the gas valve on a mod con.

@mattmia2` I know nothing about a mod con since I have never seen one. We did very little residential, just schools, hospitals and industrial boilers. They were a modulating gas valve.

Mod con gas valves usually modulate based on the amount of air pulled through them, the control just controls the inducer fan speed and the gas valve follows.
