1-pipe steam TRV question

I just installed 2 Danfoss TRV's (the ones everyone recommends) on radiators in rooms that really overheat and have a question. I understand the principle of the TRV that it will close when it reaches the desired temp setting but I was wondering if I should set the dial for a bit less then I want since the radiator is hot and will continue to heat for a bit? We only started the system yesterday and I'm wondering what I can expect and if the radiator will start to cool even though the system is running to produce heat in other areas?
