A.O smith water heater issue.

I have domestic hot water heater , it ignites but no flame all other safetys are good , can this be a thermostat issue ? also I would like to attach few pictures of the job , & would aprecaite if I am explained how the plumbing is connected & cause of the no flame , plz update

    yes the fan does run , air flow switch is closed & high limit switch

    Hi, It is sounding like the gas control to me, but have you contacted AO Smith and/or White Rodgers? Maybe they have some clues 😏

    It looks like the circulator pump in the pic is mounted upside down?

    This water heater is running a hydronic system?

    it's the gas valve & I have contacted A.O smith already.

    to my understanding so far it's just being used as demostic hot water , as for the plumbing side of the system I will draw a diagram & attach & suggestion would be apreciated.

    This pump here is mounted upside down. It looks to be cast iron and the flanges also. If it is the hot water recirc it should all be brass or stainless.

    update I got the hot water running , issue was the thermostat/ gas vavle . thanks for looking into this

    the gas valve was defective , no error codes or response , don't think it was field serviceable I just installed new vavle & kidos in class is getting hot water on there bathroom.
