After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

The main simple one - blr temp, dhw temp, run time etc0

Replaced the Firomatic knob - threads had a little creep - that’s the old one on top0

Given the recommended water temperature for radiant heat beneath an oak floor (85 -100 Fahrenheit) suspect this setting has something to do with the variable motorized tempering valve for the radiant loop.
Still curious what MIH stands for.0 -

Thanks - correct - it’s the water temperature out of the tempering valve for the hardwood floor radiant section
Putting a little heat to the sensor strapped to the output nipple confirmed it0
