In Search Of: ARCO bolt-on rad. feet (old ones!)

I know this is a COMPLETE shot in the dark, but I can't think of a better place to ask.

We are refurbishing and reinstalling our old ARCO peerless wall radiators, type 7-B, in our 1920's bungalow. (see pg 17 here: https://archive.org/details/americanpeerless00amer/page/16/mode/2up?view=theater )

Wall hanging is not an option for several reasons and we will need to use bolt-on feet which were available for purchase when these rads were made, around 1925.

Does anyone in here know if these old parts are at all available?

That's a new one on me. I don't know of anyone who makes those.

Since you have the measurements, you might be able to have a machine shop or fabricator make some for you.

Where in MD are you located?

I'm in Mt Rainier. We chatted on the phone a few weeks ago about my rads. I am a fabricator and do have the ability to make a pattern and cast new ones, but as you can imagine that is a LOT of work and expense. Trying to exhaust all other possibilities before I go that route.

Make your own design feet by welding steel plate. You could even bend curves with one of those small manual benders. Doesn't have to exactly match the old ones.

It will be a lot easier for you to find some used standing cast iron radiators someone is trying to get rid of.
