If you are looking for a good program for manual J I use LoopCAD MJ8 edition and couldn't be happier with it. It costs a bit to get started, and you have to pay a yearly license renewal fee to continue getting updates. worth every penny to me, but I use it every day

Every hydronics pro, consultant, designer, troubleshooter, salesperson, etc should have Siggys Hydronic Design program.
The load calc is super simple to use and it allows you to build custom wall assemblies, vary basement depth, etc.
I think the demo allows you to do one calculation? Certainly worth 99 bucks.

I'm not seeing Heat Load Pro listed as an ACCA approved Manual J program. Might not mean much though. I've tried CoolCalc. I don't think it worked well.0
