I have a Reed rotator oven all of the sudden the motor for the rotating shelves stopped working we open the side panel to check why the motor wasn’t rotating. One of my employees accidentally tripped the fuse that between the burner control and the temperature switch now we lost the heat. Look up the Honeywell burner control which is 7800 it was given me code 6-1

Relay Module self-test

*Internal Faults I looked this up and I couldn’t reset the module. I checked the wiring they all attached. If anyone can help me out would be greatly appreciated

    Hello @Joe101,
    Is this not true ?

So far I can not find any documentation on the Reed rotator oven or the Honeywell burner control 7800. Or at least any thing of any value to me that has a wiring diagram or schematic. If you have any PDF versions of documentation or can take some quality pictures and post them may I can help. Even the model number of the oven may help.

Which 7800 do you have ? It seems there is many versions.

In general I would try to repair or reverse what the employee did and then troubleshoot the motor issue.

Sounds like the control is bad. Could be the chassis or the programming module. Do you have the display module plugged in...sounds like you do.

This is like a rotating pizza oven I take it.

The R7800 is a commercial programming control used on commercial burners.

You can't really do any troubleshooting without the display module. and just the display module is $$$. I think I paid around $200 for one and that was probably 15 years ago...maybe more. They probably cost 3x that or more now.

Without that you are just guessing.

You need a service company familiar with those controls. Someone who services commercial and industrial burners and equipment.

Anyone working on residential will not have a clue about that control.

    Hello @Joe101,

Your code "code 6-1 Relay Module self-test "

I can't find a "6-1" You need to be accurate about the error number, since it defines the course of action.
    Is it actually;

    or

    or

Your issue started when the shelves stopped rotating. Has that been fixed? Do the shelves rotate now?
Maybe the the computer has logic where if the shelves don't rotate (output drive failure) the heat won't come on.

    Hello @Joe101,
Going by that document number in the picture 97-5552 REV. B, it does not seem to be like the document number structure associated with Honeywell documents for the 7800 that I have found so far. So I'm thinking that document may be published by the ovens manufacture or whoever outfitted the oven with the 7800 and the software / firmware is custom tailored for that application and that is why the error number structure is different.

Since Error 6-1 "Output Drive Failure" sounds like your original complaint ("motor for the rotating shelves stopped working") before the employee made things worse. I would troubleshoot that issue as long as all the issues that the employee created have been repaired and you are back to the original issue.

I don't know how they monitor the movement of the shelves, motor current monitoring, some kind of motion sensor, etc. There is a lack of useful documentation on Reed's website.

So you really need someone that can repair that type of equipment with minimal documentation or call Reed's and see what they advise, if you have not yet.

Is there a wiring diagram in the documentation you have or on the inside of a removable cover plate ?
