Thanks for all of the responses to my original post regarding one of our Laars Mighty-Therm. All helpful. I ended up taking Streamheads suggestion and called a pro. He was un able to solve the problem though. I didn't hang over him because I really didn't like it when my customers did the same unless of course they have some good conversation. He didn't want to talk. I caught him as he was leaving the building to get an update and he said the boiler needed to be cleaned per the Laars tech service. I believe that aft3er all the roll out it was experiencing. What I don't get and neglected to ask after he told mr this news is How does this explain the strange behavior of the low gas volume on the burner side.

So the roll out issue is resolved. But the is S8610 behavior and low gas pressure issue still exists ???
And the Pro left and is not returning ? Is this a fair assessment ?

Maybe I misunderstood but the boiler in that condition would probably perform very poorly, since the amount of fuel delivered is greatly restricted by the reduce pressure and the excessive burner cycling.
