Buderus GB142 oval seal replacement
FB
Member Posts: 45
This is the horizontal seal that can be seen when the condensate collector has been removed. It is applied to the oval opening near the bottom of the flue gas collector. If you've ever replaced this seal, could it be done without separating the heat exchanger from the flue gas collector?

You can work it out the flexible trap without removing anything else . You are talking about the black seal on the top of trap ? Normally it is not a issue of water leaking from there unless the trap is plugged ..

I don't know how old your GB is, but I found after 7-8 years, the bottles cracked....needed new ones..Mad Dog 🐕1
