Burnham Series 3 Outdoor Reset

I would like to add the outdoor reset to my series 3 IQ controlled boiler. There is a wireless temp. trans/recv. option and it is shown as an option to wire it directly to the Envirocom terminals on the main control board. If I purchase the wireless temp transmitter. Do I also need to purchase the Outdoor Reset card, or does the main controller handle that functionality?
