I keep my shop at 68, plenty warm for even sitting at the computer. The key is warm feet.
68 gets a bit too warm is I am doing some heavy work. Like sanding a cutting board
The people that erect the metal building should be familiar with what insulation works best in your area. The white plastic/ foil faced fiberglass is common everywhere I have worked on metal. It can be a finished surface. Maybe plywood behind work areas of for hanging tools, etc.Bob "hot rod" Rohr

Not sure if you had considered a Morton pole barn building; they also insulate them
based on the local weather conditions in mind as well.0 -
I read Larry. I must have done something right with my house (that I am now forced to sell) because the boiler has been completely disconnected all winter and the interior temperature never went below 33 degrees while it was -2 outside.
