Stainless Chimney Liners

Im looking at getting a stainless flue liner in conjunction with a new gas steam boiler. Ancient tile liner is definitely failing and something needs to be done.
There seem to be a lot of different types of stainless liners (corrugated, flexible smooth wall; rigid, heavy wall, etc) and not a lot about when you should be using one type or another. Anything to avoid, push for, or am I overthinking it and should just trust the chimney inspection company’s recommendation?

Use that site to educate yourself, and then you have a good deal of knowledge when you talk to a contractor. More importantly, you will be able to tell who actually knows what they are talking about, and who is just trying to lighten your wallet.trivetman said:Thanks! That site is super helpful!
