good morning
my daughter bought a house recently she has forced air for cooling and hydronic baseboard heating thru a gas fired boiler obviously two separate systems. right now there are two separate thermostats on the wall next to each other. can I wire the heating side of the nest to the boiler in the basement and the cooling side to the air handler in the attic. thanks so much for feedback Dave

Remove jumper between R and RC, if there is one equipped for regular thermostats, in case any non-nest users comes across this thread.SuperTech said:Yes, no problem. Boiler goes to RH and W. A/C to RC, Y, G and C.
