What’s important to you? What kind of domestic hot water demands do you have? Do you have adequate floor space to fit an indirect tank?

Do you have any high GPM DHW loads? Like tubs, stuff like that. The Navien, because it’s a combi with an input of 150kbtu, can get you about 3.5 gpm max. An indirect can exceed that for short periods, and based on the size of the boiler can match it indefinitely. You can also go smaller because you have a tank, if that fits the heat loss better

    Never navien for me...
That being said there are more options than these 2.
Chose the installer over the product.
Chose the best product that the installer knows backwards, forwards and upside down.

Anything but Navien.  Energy Kinetics have never disappointed me. Installing contractor is usually more important than the brand name.

IMO, not only is the Accel a better boiler, you can actually get your hands in there to service it.
