Hello everyone. I've been having radiant floor heat issues in the bathroom and my plumber said its the thermostat but of course he did not com3 back to replace it. All in all i ordered the Tekmar replacement since my old one is discontinued

Old thermo - tekmar 508
New thermo - tekmar 518

I think i matched up the wiring correctly but wanted to make confirm before i blow my system:

508 numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6
518 match  S1 = 1 COM = 2 C = 3 R = 4 Rh = 5 W1 = 6

Thanks in advance to everyone that responds

I hate it when they throw in an extra terminal. Away is not on your old thermostat

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

Your green and blue wires go on Rh and W1. Dry contact
Red and white on C and R (red). 24v power

Two white sensor leads on Com and S1 sensor

Just don’t mix up the whites😁

Thanks so much Ed! I had it exactly as you stated which is a relief! I also hate the extra terminal but figured the no power terminals aren't going to damage anything if I had them reversed! Thanks again! Cheers!
