Venting dilemma

I performed a routine service on this boiler and found the vent has signs of condensation leaking down the exhaust pipe.  I opened up the ceiling and found that the venting system in the ceiling was installed backwards.   The installer changed the direction of the vent fitting to solve the problem but now it’s leaking at the backwards fitting.  Any ideas besides the obvious tear out and do it right. The red arrows show the vent pipe correct direction

maybe a condensate drain fitting installed somewhere before the condensate starts to back up against the backwards fitting

I would rip it and fix it. It's not your problem if the installer was a bozo. Take pictures show homeowner and fix it right.

What temp is the vent running at? Is it the correct material for the job. Listed for the boiler or furnace it is used on? If it is Centrotherm it should be ok

Jeffrey...You did not create this Issue.. This Venting needs to be redone ..
The home owner should be glad that you found it !
The Inspector that passed this should be aware of this !
The installer that did this needs to be educated. :/
    Hope you are well. Richard.
