The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen of New York is seeking an Electrical Estimating Instructor for its Electrical Technology Program. Classes are held at the Society's Mechanics Institute located at 20 West 44th Street.
The main job of the electrical instructor is to educate students about estimating electrical work and submitting a competitive bid. Course topics to be covered include an initial review of plans and specifications; set-up of take-off and pricing sheets; formulating Request For Information (RFI); preparing the take-off sheet; preparation of Material & Equipment (M&E) list for vendor pricing; labor values; set-up of and transfer of information to “Recap” sheets; preparing the summary sheet; final senior-level review; and, preparation and submission of the bid.
The Mechanics Institute is able to furnish the Instructor with Course Materials.

I'm just a dumb Plumma...I can't even spell electrician! I've seen plumbers who don't know there is a B in plumber and definitely can't spell escutcheon!!!! Mad 🐕 Dog2
