Sarco FTL-00 Rebuild Kit?

I have 2 Sarco FTL-00 steam traps that don't seem to be working. They are on 2 return lines heading to a condensate pump and I can tell steam is getting by. My heating guy told me that they sell rebuild kits for them, but no matter how much I ask him, I can't get on his schedule (he seems to busy chasing emergencies, it's always something that gets overlooked when I have him over).

Anyway, does anyone know a good source for these kits? There seems to be a lot of variance between aftermarket sets, and I'd hate to have everything apart just to realize I have the wrong one.

Thanks!

You can get them from a wholesaler that sell Sarco products, or from Tunstall Associates, Chicopee, Ma. or from Barnes & Jones (I think they are in Randolph, Ma)

Get all the #s off the name plate , pipe size of the trap and send pictures

Thanks, guys. Both of these traps are on the return going to a watchman condensate pump. I had read that introducing steam to it wasn't ideal, as it could cause it to cavitate. I told this to my plumber and he said it shouldn't have any negative affect.

I can tell steam is getting past them because there is a vent in the piping after the trap that was broken, and was hissing on particularly cold nights when the boiler was working extra hard. I replaced it with a 3/4 vent.

Is there any reason why i should be in a rush to get these rebuilt, or is this something that can wait until the spring?

Steam shouldn't be in the return in the first place, but not good for the pump.

if traps are leaking steam by,
they could be pressurizing, and steaming the returns,
and that could be shutting other rads off by back feeding their traps causing poor heating in those other locations,

    fix the traps
