Lennox G40UH Gas value chatters after temperature is reached.

I have Lennox G40UH-36B-090-03 furnace in my attic. When the furnace runs, everything works fine until the temperature hits the setpoint, the gas valve will then chatter loudly until I lower the thermostat set point which shuts the valve.

    I reconnected the wire to the gas valve, so far three good on off cycles.
