Kappa boiler blocked vent

Hi everyone,

has anyone installed a Biasi Kappa gas hot water boiler and had issues with the blocked vent switch?
we installed this unit last year and had issues. We determined that the flue was clear but the issues persisted. The rep finally admitted there was a bad batch of thermal links sent out and sent me supposedly a new one that wasn’t part of the faulty bunch. 
Rest of last season was fine after we replaced it. 
I can’t recall the weather last year after we replaced it but I’m sure it had some run time (no DHW)

Got the call today. Doing it again. 
I’ll obviously need to return and make certain draft is not an issue this time. 
Is there a different switch I can upgrade this one to if all draft testing indicates we are clear?
