Circulating pumps on Alibaba

Everyone's using Taco and Grundfos but they are so expensive.

Looks like there are tons of lower-priced options on Alibaba.

At these prices, could you buy a pump for every zone and have it cheaper than a bunch of valves and actuators?

Euro circs most of them. Union bodies, and possibly 230V 50 Hz motors

FWIW, The vendors on Alibaba mostly deal with wholesale customers. AliExpress deals with retail customers. Unless you plan to buy large quantities, it is usually more straightforward to buy from AliExpress.com instead of Alibaba.com.

There are a number of arcane rules and laws which need to be adhered to when shipping from China. If they ship to a country, most all the vendors on AliExpress know how to deal with these issues and you won't be surprised at a fee to get a shipment through the bureaucracy of your  country's customs and border protection. Contrast this with Alibaba where it is hit or miss with any given vendor.

I've wondered about Alibaba for 3d printer filament but don't know if I can trust it

Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

Seems like an odd place to cheapen a system. Properly sized and installed with good water quality, 20 years is not unusual for a brand name circ. What dollar amount would you take that gamble on a no name brand?

Most of the time, you get what you pay for. The problem with Chinese manufacturers is that some of them are predatory, sacrificing quality for a lower price.

Not to mention liability. If you install a product in someone's home that's not electrically certified to North American standards. Then you could liable for anything that could happen as a result of that product being installed. What's that worth to you?
