I had a System 2000 EK1T installed to replace by old boiler... I use oil to run the system. Since installation I am getting a banging noise... seems to be caused by valve closure.. maybe too fast ?? I am not sure.. I had installer come out and look at it.. he said the water intake was reversed.... he did reverse the water intake, but the problem banging is still there... I am waiting to hear from them so they can come back... my old system never did this... the only change is the new boiler

Thank you for your post, @mikebaczew .
Please ask your heating professional to call our tech-support team so we can help. There are some details surrounding the piping in your system that we need to explore to lend more insight. If you can consistently reproduce the problem (by opening and closing the zone valve for example), that will help considerably in finding a solution.
