Super Hot boiler replacing cast iron.

I am replacing a small older cast iron boiler with a Super Hot steel finned boiler. Do I need to run a bypass? I know the copper fin boilers call for them but I'm not sure on the steel. The manual has no piping diagrams, and when I called the company they were no help.

I finally replaced the pilot assembly and S8610 on my twenty year old Allied Super Hot MG-100 last year. No bypass, just rolling it with the original UPS15-42. Been a Great boiler.
