Munchkin F09 Soft Lockout

I have an F09 Fault code and have to reset my Munchkin boiler often. Does the boiler keep trying following the 1-hour lockout or does it give up? If so, how many times? Any input is appreciated, thanks!

F09 is no flame.
Will try 3 times and then hard lock out.
When was the combustion chamber last opened and cleaned?
Is the condensate drain under the boiler clear and not plugged?
Quick fix might be to remove the ignitor and the flame sensor. clean both.
The ignitor should have a gap of 2 quarter coins thickness (almost).
But the cleaning of combustion chamber must be done.1 -
Aside from what JUGHNE said, when you clean the HX be sure and replace the burner gasket and tighten down the 4 screws holding the burner tube to the front plate good and tight. Do a combustion analysis, too. Most F09 error codes are caused by a loose burner tube. It interferes with rectification and therefore flame sense.0
