Boiler only firing on for one of two heating zones

I'm sure this is a simple issue. I can see on the Taco switching relay that the Zone 1 thermostat is calling for heat, but the boiler does not fire on. If I call for heat from Zone 2, the boiler fires on. Is this simply a bad Taco switching relay?

take a pic with the cover off, to see how it is wired.

Try to validate demand by placing a jumper across Rand W on the control
if zone two is closing isolated endswitch to engage boiler, you might have a faulty thermostat

It turns out this is a blower relay issue. My diagnostics were premature because of lack of knowledge. The boiler actually was firing on, but after the water was at the needed temps it didn't need to fire on again - we have hydronic forced air, so I didn't realize the blower had its own separate logic for it to fire on. I've always been around HW baseboard, or steam heating, so I was more used to how those systems would operate.
