Brass nipple and union for P-Trol and Gauge for easy removal and cleaning

Does anyone see a problem with installing a union before the Pressure-trol and gauge to allow easy removal and cleaning?

    Nope. you can make a u out of ells, tees, nipples, and plugs in place of the pigtail as well and then you can just remove the plugs and flush it out and verify it is clear without having to take it apart.
