Chemical Add riser with cap

I recently replaced a Leaking boiler with brand new and added an 1 1/4" Riser to be used to introduce Chem / Cleaner into the return piping where fresh water is piped inot the system. see the attached picture.
Does anyone see a problem leaving this capped riser in place?
