I had a 1955 Mercury in 1973. That was my daily ride to high school. I know, Wrong Mercury

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

as a kid, I shined up many coins with that stuff. I had a U-tube manometer for checking pressures in the hvac days. ran the mercury through cheese cloth to keep it clean. It was recommended in the instructions!

I ran into a Honeywell heat generator while looking at a job in New Rochelle. I am glad that you answered my question of what it was. I did not had to handle it like you and Dave.
