I have an old furnace, any one have an idea what type of fan switch I can replace this one with.
Problem is the fan switch won’t come up unless I put in Manual then back to auto.

for starters look at the max temp on the ratings plate on the furnace and set the limit stop to that, then try moving the on stop up a bit and the off stop down a bit. if you have to replace it, you can get a combination fan/limit control from honeywell/resideo or white rodgers or robertshaw. you will need to pull it out and measure the probe length. The modern resideo control has a white knob for the manual control instead of that rocker. They are available from supplyhouse.com.1
