Lifebreath HRV/ERV expert question

HI everyone I am hoping you can help. I have a 7 year old Lifebreath furnace plumbed off a IBC boiler as a zone. It works very well and has the HRV/ERV inside. I was hoping to also use the ERV on demand so I purchased the Lifebreath controller that wires to the digital port on the main board. It powers up just fine and I can choose different settings. I can also still use the system or heat with no issues or just run the fan. The problem is that the digital control can not turn on the fan motor. These are useful since they monitor the humidity and can have timers set and turn the fan off if they detect high humidity. So I have a situation where the thermostat runs the heating portion fine and the digital control can turn the fan OFF but thats all it can do. It won't ever turn the fan on, it acts like it is but the fan never activates. I am wondering if there is a setting that needs to tell the system to allow the digital HRV control panel to turn the fan only on? Thank you in advance
