Mixing z-wave and evohome

Hi, I'm looking at putting together a bit of a home automation project, and I like the look of the Honeywell evohome gear, but it looks like it works at a very similar frequency to z-wave, which I am thinking of using to automate some lighting. Does anyone have any experience using a combination of both z-wave and evohome in their house?
