I didn't know Mr. Krepps, but I wish I had. He lived quite a life. May he rest in peace:

There are quite a few of my customers who passed away and I did not know about their history until I read their obituary. A lot of them had some very interesting lives that I would have liked to have known more about. There are a lot of people I would like to turn the clock back on and be able to talk to them about their life, including my parents, but it is now too late. Now when ever I have the chance to sit and talk to anyone who has any age on them at all, I try to listen more and ask questions. You only get one chance.

A life well lived Mr. Krepps.

I had an aunt that was 99 that I would see 1 or 2 times a year. She said she wanted to make it to 100. Came close but didn't make it.

Last time I saw here I was doing some work over there.

I sat and talked with her for a half hour or so and we had coffee.

Always glad I took the time to do that.

Had a former co-worker his parents were the same age. His father died at 99, mother was 102

I wish he could have visited here to tell us about Pittsburgh’s district-steam system, and so much more. I’ll bet he was good with stories.

    What a nice send-off.

I absolutely love that we’re talking about this man that none of us knew. Thanks for that.

I hope that some do the same for us all some day.

I say we all live interesting lives, some say, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing". I think it is the 'good' you STOOD FOR that counts when you cash in your chips. Living is risky business.
