Does anyone have experience with medium pressure ductwork
I was looking a existing job with medium and low pressure dw. They have pneumatic air valves to reduce duct pressure in office zones
i was wondering if a vac box can do the same thing as the pneumatic valve
it is a pressure dependent arrangement

If you're talking about a VAV .......variable air volume system yes, the supply medium pressure duct from the air handler is generally run with about 1" of static pressure which feeds VAV boxes. In the old day the boxes were pneumatically controlled now they use DDC controls0
