Another Old and Odd Device

This was mounted on the wall above the air tanks (air used to start diesel engines) in our 1920's power plant. Not in use today, but was piped somehow in the system years ago.

    Could be a float drainer basically a F & T trap without thr T to remove moisture from the compressed air.
