rinnai M090CN time program error

I received an error message on my rinnai M090CN that reads
Time Program Error: Time Program service type mismatch. enter into technical menu and check it.
I am not an HVAC guy, I did however install the boiler. I am unable to figure out what this is stating.

Couldn't find anything in their user manual. Sounds like a reminder to service the boiler.

Did a solution get found for this? I have the same error and even factory reset won’t help

I have the same issue on my Rinnai M120SN

From the home screen
 -press ok
-scroll to complete menu-press ok
-scroll to screen settings-press ok
-scroll to time program service type-press ok
-there are two options here-change it from whichever you’re initially set on. 

-the boiler will restart and you’ll be all set
-should it reappear, you’ll need to replace the board and/or the display. 

-I’ve seen this on two separate installations and each time this procedure cured the issue
