Cast Iron Baseboard - Paint/Polish?

We just stripped 8-9 layers of old paint off our cast-iron baseboards. We like the more industrial look and I am not interested in painting it again (unless we have to). Is there a polish that we can use to keep them raw? If we have to paint- any suggestions to keep the industrial black look? What products do you recommend?

If you end up going the paint route, we used Benjamin Moore Satin Impervo. It comes in black.

You are best off painting it. Rust is your enemy- you definitely do not want to oil it, and waxes will not prevent it from rusting. You can buy paints that simulate the natural cast iron look.0
