Triangle Tube Solo 175 won't fire/won't respond to control panel buttons

in Gas Heating
i just replaced the main control unit in December - was working fine - woke up to no heat today. Checked boiler and found that it won't fire and it won't respond to any of the front panel buttons. I swapped out the button board with a spare button board with no success.

    Are we talking about the Prestige with the MCBA 5 ?

    1. Bad ribbon cable for the "button board" ?
    2. Are the internal Fuses OK ?
    3. Bad voltage supply (spikes) causing failures of the control ?

    We protect our boilers with a UPS.
