Last year I had er3 (Water Probe – The Sentry is sensing an open circuit at the water probe. Or, the outdoor or water probe circuit is grounding). The outdoor probe and terminals were dry. I replaced the Thermistor and its wire harness and the boiler has worked until last week. The old thermistor checked out fine by the way. I attached the wire harness to the old thermistor (just hanging in air) and then warmed it up a little - it was enough to get the boiler going and once the water started to get warm I shut the boiler off, put the wire harness back on the installed thermistor and its running okay without issue. I can order another Thermistor but as the old one didn't seem to be bad I'm wondering if I need to be looking elsewhere. I appreciate any insights.
