Just a good moment today when the two sides of a long main run on a counterflow one pipe system come together nicely. The boiler side had two takeoffs and an added tee for an air elimination vent stub. The line continues out to feed more convection.





St. Louis is full of small, poorly maintained steam systems such as this one that can benefit from a bit of attention and makes all the difference to the resident.

I have not but will do so. Thanks for the idea. We have almost too business as it is now but it is nice to deal with customers who have found this site as they are generally more knowledgeable about their systems.
