Vaillant weather comp. Controller

Running eco-tec 615 system boiler with weather comp. Problem is I have set the night set back temperature to 16c when system shuts down ( as programmed) at end of day it fails to recognise this temperature setting and falls 5.5c. The 700f is the latest system and new. Had this and other issues with my obsolete 470f that was reason for change. Haven’t found a local heating ( so called) engineer that has a clue and most didn’t respond. Latest “ get out of jail” excuse is “ will check my diary and book the job in” then nothing!

Are you in the EU/GBR ?
Over here in the USA we do not see Vaillant very often...
I don't think that any of their condensing boilers ever made it to the US.

Is the 700f a compatiable stat for the eco-tec 615 ?
Does the control have a "Time constant" that may need to be Adjusted.
Do you have a VRC 693 outdoor sensor and is it hooked up to AF and 0.. You may want to Ohm out the outdoor sensor.
did you try https://www.vaillant.co.uk/homeowners/0
