Spark Transformer testing

in THE MAIN WALL
Can a newer High voltage spark Transformer (14,000 volts secondary),
be tested the same way the old iron core (10,000 volts secondary) is tested.
Screwdriver, arc testing?

    Depends on the brand. Most that's the first test. Others go by checking ohms and/or bench testing it with milliamps.
