Just finished piping the primary and secondary, from Boiler to 3 zones. I'm looking for advice on what cleaner can be used to clean, Teflon tape and pipe sealant. There is brass and aluminum the air separator and low loss header. Looking at not going to send any cleaner through the boiler. There is no more than 3 or 4 gals in this section. Which cleaner do the pro use ? All help is going to be greatly appreciated.....

Maybe I'm misunderstanding here - but Teflon tape and thread sealant (pipe dope) are normally applied to the male threads of a joint. So, none of the tape or sealant should enter the system.0

I did notice some lumps at the joints, when I had to redo some piping, also concerned about oils from the makeup of the pipe. Or am I fessing about nothing ....
