Could someone please remind me about how much a electric vent damper is or might save on average per year in a single family house 70,000 input btu boiler? Thanks

    Very little. Maybe 1-2%

    Even if it did save more, you should consider what it would cost to have installed by a pro.

    There is control wiring involved and the damper is not cheap.
    (and sometimes troublesome)

    And how much longer will you keep the boiler?

    Do you have a standing pilot light?
