Tag gone and hoping anyone might recognize mfr. Float sw on top is a little unusual. Need new float sw assembly. No tag on float sw either.
Appreciate input. See photo

Frank, I thought Shipco at first but found nothing similar. Will check Skidmore. Color led me to Shipco first. I think I will will be able to use a square D 9037E float assembly on it now that I did a little looking in square D catalogs.
Thanks all

Does this look like 1/2 of the one you have?
This is a Skidmore 10 MX series, Model XC2S61..Model 56948-1S...Date code K90X...6 gallon...1/3HP
Even shop order 68,622-S (269)-925-8812.
Sq D class 9037 EG9-Series B
I did replace the shaft seal.
One leg of the switch was burned, so only 1 pole is running it.
I was going to get a standard well switch and rob parts out of it for getting 2 contacts.
1938 Building was on borrowed time. Steamer is gone now, the guy who bought the build is certain he can heat it cheaper with straight resistance electric heaters....
Rather than the 50 HP or so Kewanee......for sale by the way.

I think the contacts for those are available as repair parts from square d.0

Skidmore seems more likely. Hoffman is usually tan colored. I thought Shipco as well but since you already checked0

The D9037E float sw, ball and rod worked like a charm, under 200 bucks and done. Large mech contractor installed a steam to water heat x in this pit below the 120 yr old chapel for hydronic wall panels in basement . The brought the steam pipe down from above to pit, over 15 ft then up 2ft loop then down into top of S&T hx. No drip on the steam line trap. Nice and quiet! ;o
Thanks all for replies
