Replacement for SlantFin/30 with twice the BTU output

Greetings,
I have a back hallway in my house that is always a couple degrees below the thermostat setpoint. When I built the addition and installed the baseboard I knew I would be under radiated but tried to compensate by having extra at the bottom of the stairs. There is not a lot of good wall space to install additional baseboard so I’m hoping to replace what I have with something with higher output. There is currently 4’ which is 2400 btu/hr but I would like to get up to 5-6k to meet the original heatloss I calculated years ago. I’m not against euro style or anything else for that matter that will get me the output I need. Problem is that the supply and return of the current baseboard are both located at one end so I need a replacement with a similar setup. It looks like Ecostyle CV panel radiators will work but curious if there are any other options.
Many thanks.

Might look at Slant/Fin Multi-Pak 80- not quite twice the per-foot output, but it might be enough.All Steamed Up, Inc.

@Brent H.
Also check out "Spirotube" it has high output. You have to buy your own enclosure for it it will fit inside "Sterling Senior" if I remember right.
Spirotube is made by the spirovent people. See the attached they changed the name to "Speed Heat"0 -

So I’m back looking at this since it’s winter and that’s when I notice the hallway never gets up to temperature. I’ve thought about replacing the slantfin baseboard with Runtal that has 1.5x the BTU output. I have a few concerns I’m hoping you folks can answer:
- The Runtal seems to have more mass than the Slantfin so. I’m wondering if I’m going to have issue with uneven heating since there are about 11’ of other Slantfin baseboard in the loop.
- The Runtal has 1/2” supply and return while the current Slantfin is all 3/4”. Do I need to look at using mono flow tees to keep the water flow up?
- This loop is one of 3 zones on a remote manifold fed with a single circulator. How do I prevent flow imbalance with the other zones due to 1/2” restriction on the Runtal? This is kind of ties to my previous concern.
Many thanks.0 -
