Don't y'all just love it when a heating system just works?

That said, whenever my home is going to be empty for longer periods of time, 14+ hrs in this case, I will often close all the doors upstairs in addition to making sure everything is off. One thing that I have noticed is that the temperature throughout the house equalizes to near perfection with the doors closed. Kitchen, dinning room, living room, hallway all read exactly 72f.
The hallway sensor is mounted on the ceiling upstairs, the kitchen is on the wall above the cabinets, dinning room is the thermostat and is mid wall, and the living room is on an end table.

Contrast this to most burnt air systems with their wild temperature swings and hot and cold spots. I will admit the master bedroom will get a bit warmer but that is probably because it is the only room upstairs with insulation in the wall.

Also notice the humidity. The humidifier ran out about an hour after I left. It was holding around 35% until point.
