is this screw the bleeder valve or is the bleeder valve be near the elbow on the other end of the radiator

Yes. That's a bleeder valve.

Yes, that hole is where you bleed air from.

Trying to squeeze the best out of a Weil-McLain JB-5 running a 1912 1 pipe system.
