Navien Heater

Hi I have a navien heater NPE 240 on natural gas. The heat exchanger has a hole burned through can anyone tell me the cause of that its barely 4 years old. Max temp is 140 degrees.

    Yeah, Naiven may cover some warranty but they seem to be having issues

    I know the cause of the problem.  

    Navien makes a low quality product.

    I would like to know the Serial number, LP or NG, see pictures of the install along with pictures of the vent terminations. My experience shows Navien as a excellent product with many messed up installations that lead to pre mature failures. Many LP conversions that are not done correctly resulting in eventual overheating the and the issue being experienced here. No one make bad equipment but we do experience bad installs.

    He said it was natural gas.

    I did talk to tech support and sent them pics of the install etc 2 days ago no reply back yet. so I guess it's a big hurry up and wait game.

    The exhaust pipe is cockeyed and maybe leaking and for no good reason

    All good just had a reply They are replacing the unit
