Hi all,
I have seven radiant zones. Each zone has a Taco 241 valve in it.
For quite a few years we’ve had very hard water in the system.
at least three of those zone have no flow.

I took the circulating pump out and it seems to work fine. Is it possible that the Taco 241 is clogged? I haven’t been able to open it up to inspect it. It’s in a difficult to get to location. And I am not able to adjust the screw either.
Next thought is to cut the Taco out to take it apart.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you

The 241 is a flow check valve. Supposed to open when the pump turns on and close when the pump shuts off. Do you have zone valves as well or does everything heat at once?
Pictures will help.
Flow check valves usually fail to close and allow flow when you don't want it rather than the other way around
