Caleffi Twistflow manifold stupid question

I have a job requiring 14 loops, twistflow's come pre-assembled up to 13. Can I just buy two 7 outlets and combine them together using the union connections? Never had to do one with this many loops, and wanted to make sure. Can't find an answer in their literature...

Thanks!

If you can, should you? Can the two manifolds, if hooked together end to end, handle the flow that you need for 14 loops?

As @Mosherd1 suggested, can the trunk size handle the flow requirements of the 14 loops? If you are asking for .50 gpm or less per branch, 7 gpm, no problem.

Depending on your designed for or expected flow rates at some point a high flow manifold with a larger trunk size is a better choice.

@hot_rod my flow rate calc shows .6 gpm per loop, so I'm close. Was planning on 1 1/4 version. maybe be better off with the 663 manifold? That does appear to have a 14 outlet version.

So a bit over 8 gpm, let me check with engineering on Monday. That S-1 is a nice manifold to use.

Here is the tech sheet, looks like plenty of Cv in the trunk. We actually only make an 8 branch, any thing beyond 8 is assembled from 2 pieces.

We do assemble an d test every manifold in Milwaukee, it would be tough to disassemble and custom build a longer version.

Best option would be to see if they would build a 14 in Milwaukee, bracketed an d tested properly.

@hot_rod Thanks you rock! Interesting on that tech sheet, think I saw a 14 outlet 663 in the catalog under the 1 1/4 sizing.  I'll see if I can find what page it is.

Also went back to my spreadsheet to double check.  It's calling for .64 per loop so a little closer to 9 gpm total...
